Client Access

Client Access in Weddx is one of the most powerful tools. It allows your clients to directly interact with you:
  • Sign digital contract -- contract is then stored securely at Weddx for future references
  • View contract payment schedule and make payment -- clients can view the payment schedules (calculated by Weddx based on your payment rule) and make payment right online, either by check or by one of the credit card options Weddx supports. For now, PayPal and Google Checkout are available. All you have to do is to register for a free merchant account with them and provide the necessary information to Weddx, that's it. It's all wired up to pay your merchant account directly.
  • View products -- clients can view either pre-wedding or post-wedding products. The details of these products, which are maintained by you, are reflected on Client Access. For example, if you scheduled a shoot, the time and date as well as the location information are all displayed in Client Access. Another good example is your proof gallery. You can enter the URL to the gallery and the password, so your clients can view them right inside Client Access.
  • Maintain wedding day details -- one of the most important tasks for you is to gather wedding day details, whether it's the time line or the locations. Why not ask your clients to do this for you? Right from Client Access, your clients will have the same interface as you do to maintain wedding day time line and locations.
  • Make individual payment -- there are cases that you provided a service or sold a product and then ask for payments from clients. Make it easy with Client Access by simply asking them to click on the Make Payment link and enter the amount of the product/service and pay right online, using the same payment methods.
Client Access is growing. We constantly add new features to this section based on your suggestion. So, please, don't hesitate to send us what you would like to see in Client Access. One thing in our work queue is to add Authorize.NET if you have a merchant account so client can enter credit card number directly in Client Access.

Keep your suggestions coming!

Focus on what you do best ...

Take a look at what's involved in a typical wedding process from a photographer's perspective -- receiving inquiry from potential client, scheduling a free consultation meeting, preparing and signing contract, managing multiple contract payments, scheduling and shooting engagement/bridal session, preparing for wedding day details (timeline and location), post-processing pictures, preparing and delivering proof gallery, preparing and delivering DVD, designing, proofing, and delivering album, processing print orders ...

There are still plenty of other tasks, scheduling, to-dos, etc. depending on your own specific business model.

Times above tasks by your number of weddings per year, you are looking at hundreds of individual items on your hand. Not to mention revenue, advertising, budgeting, tax ... and more importantly, photography itself.

A recent survey shows wedding photographers typically spend up to 70% of their time in administrative, non-photography-related tasks. Think about it, an hour you spend maintaining your business is an hour you are NOT working on photography and improving your skills.

And yet, there are overwhelmingly abundant software applications, plug-ins, tools, and gears that are created to help photographers with their photography, but not enough to help with business management. Make no mistake, wedding photography is the most challenging photography of all -- in a single day, you need to be a master of landscape photographer, macro photographer, sports photographer, fine art photographer, and photojournalism photographer. There are more than enough tools designed to help with your photography, but none for business management.

Until now.

For less than a dollar a day, Weddx helps you managing day-to-day business, keeping track of all your weddings, and generating meaningful financial reports that monitor the health and growth of your business. All within your fingertips, a mouse click away. You gain back the hours lost and focus on what you do best.

After all, you are a photographer. Be one.
